A unique and exciting opportunity exists for the Project Officer - Adult Brain and Spinal Cord Injury (BaSCI) to develop local brain and spinal cord rehabilitation services, in line with the State-wide adult brain injury rehabilitation health service plan 2020-2026. The project officer role will work towards ensuring SCHHS has a high quality, safe and sustainable bran injury rehabilitation service that meets the healthcare needs of people accessing our services.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Lead, project manage and facilitate the implementation, monitoring, dissemination and evaluation of the State-wide adult brain injury rehabilitation health service plan for SCHHS. This will include development of a communications and engagement strategy to target internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with AH Directors / Managers, Nursing and medical leadership, plus project officers in the other hub sites to ensure an evidence based and consistent approach to brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation is being delivered both within the SCHHS and state-wide.
- Design, support implementation and evaluate systems to enhance quality and safety of brain injury rehabilitation services to improve patient access, outcomes and experiences and provide value for-money brain injury rehabilitation services.
- Generate, advocate for and influence SCHHS wide policy in relation to the brain injury models of care and service delivery within the SCHHS.
