What does the job look like?

The role of Payroll Officer (part-time) exists to primarily assist with the administration, processing, reporting and maintenance of the weekly award payroll for all Linfox Group wholly owned Australian entities. Ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of designated Payroll ledger, responsibilities of the role will include:

- Processing of allocated weekly national payroll, annual leave forms and reconciliation of leave entitlements
- The Payroll Officer will be responsible for processing new starters and terminations
- Maintenance of all payroll records
- Assisting with payroll queries
- Assisting with month-end duties
- Preparation and distribution of weekly payroll Costing Reports to Site Managers

You can demonstrate:

- Payroll experience, ideally minimum 5 years’ within large and multifaceted environments.
- In-depth knowledge of associated industry legislations, awards and best practices.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to handle high volumes of information and requests from a variety of business areas and stakeholders.
- Ability to systematically work through multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Experience working with SAP, Kronos and other enterprise level Payroll related systems.
- High volume end-to-end payroll for 7,000 + weekly employees, as well as Monthly employees.
