Immediate start for a Coordinator Environment & Sustainability working with a Council in Melbourne.

Work with a leader in the development and delivery of environmental policies, practices, and programs.

**Your new role**
Reporting to Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the environmental team responsible for the development and delivery of:

- Climate change mitigation strategy and programs
- Waste and recycling programs
- Contaminated land reports
- Sustainable building design programs

**What you'll need to succeed**
As well as having a tertiary qualification in climate or environmental science, you’ll have:

- Experience in either contaminated land management, kerbside waste services or climate change
- Extensive leadership experience and strong communication skills
- Experience in local government
