We are looking for a Compliance & Privacy Manager on either a full time or part time basis to support the ongoing compliance with applicable obligations and effective privacy risk management at Sportsbet.

**About The Role**

Reporting into the GM of Compliance & Enablement, we are looking for a Compliance & Privacy Manager to join our Legal, Risk & Compliance team to support ongoing compliance with applicable obligations and effective privacy risk management at Sportsbet.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Lead and support ongoing compliance with applicable privacy laws, regulations, and standards.
- Develop and implement privacy policies, procedures, and controls to ensure adherence to privacy obligations and best practice.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and provide recommendations for mitigating privacy risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy considerations into business processes, products, and services.
- Stay abreast of developments in privacy laws and regulations, assess their impact on the organisation, and provide guidance on compliance requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for privacy-related inquiries from regulators, customers, and Sportsbet team members.
- Lead the organisation through the impending reforms to the Privacy Act, including conducting gap analysis and impact assessments, developing implementation plans and contributing to and overseeing execution to ensure readiness and compliance.
- Provide training and awareness programs on privacy best practices and regulatory requirements to employees at all levels of the organisation, including senior management.
- Monitor and report on privacy compliance metrics and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with legal counsel, consultants, and industry groups on privacy-related matters as needed.
