Are you a seasoned Compliance professional with a passion for shaping a culture of adherence and integrity? We are working with a leading financial services client who is looking for a Compliance Manager to support the development and implementation of their Compliance Framework and Compliance Program in line with legislative requirements and industry best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the Compliance Team to manage and continually enhance the Compliance Framework, ensuring alignment with legislative requirements and best practices.
- Foster a compliance culture through training and awareness
- Provide expert advice, facilitating legal and regulatory compliance across all business units.
- Review and endorse essential documents like Product Disclosure Statements, Annual Reports, and more.
- Support projects, system changes, and process improvements while maintaining a vigilant eye on compliance.
- Play a pivotal role in implementing legislative and regulatory changes.
- Evaluate and approve critical business contracts and third-party arrangements.
- Contribute to breach investigations and remediation efforts.
- Monitor control effectiveness and participate in policy development.
- Collaborate with auditors and prepare compliance reports for senior stakeholders.
- Undertake privacy impact assessments and data request responses.

Qualifications and Experience:

- In-depth knowledge of Superannuation and Financial Services regulations.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in compliance or audit management within the financial services industry, particularly superannuation or similar.
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Law, or related fields (Desirable).
- RG 146 compliance (Desirable or willingness to obtain within the first six months).

Technical Skills:

- Deep knowledge of Compliance, Legislative, and Regulatory requirements in the Financial Services industry.
- Legal qualifications or experience are highly regarded.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- A desire to work within a cohesive team.
- Excellent writing skills for reports, policies, and documents.
- High personal and business ethics.
