**About the role &** **Key responsibilities include**:
NAB Group Property manage and protect the Bank’s investment in over 400 retail branches, 30 business banking centres and 11 commercial buildings.
The Events Consultant will be accountable for the overall planning and delivering of events across all the major commercial buildings, this includes;
- Liaise with a wide range of external and internal customers to ensure that the selected venue is appropriate and fit for purpose
- Ensuring that event requirements such as technical set up and catering are organised with strict adherence to OH&S, RSA and other relevant regulatory and building requirements
- Work with the Guest Services Advisors (Events) team in our major buildings to ensure first class events acting as an escalation point where required.
- Develop and maintain internal relationships with stakeholders
- Drive best practice processes
This role will work closely with colleagues and guests to ensure they are delivering high quality experiences before, during and after events.
Whilst not a People Leader, the Events Consultant will have responsibility for overseeing the work of others and providing direction to the Guest Services Advisors (Events) in each commercial building. They will also work closely with the two Senior Hospitality Consultants (Melbourne and Sydney) to develop and deliver an approach to creating first-class events that is consistent, colleague-, guest
- and customer-centric and in line with our commitment for excellence.
**What you will bring**:
- Strong reception or hospitality / customer service background
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Certificate III in Hospitality preferred
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Able to demonstrate a common-sense approach to problem solving
- Strategic thinking
- A commitment to customer and colleague service excellence
- Attention to detail
- Time management
