About the role

Working alongside the Service Manager, you will be responsible for supporting people with disability at Short Term Accommodation in Maroubra. This is a part time 60 hours per fortnight position. In this role, you will work a front line management position whilst using your leadership skills to guide and support your team of Community Support Workers towards our mutual goal of supporting clients to live a life of their choosing.

Responsibilities include:

- Coordinate and manage daily operations of support services, including the management of a team of Community Support Workers
- Manual handling, personal care and household tasks such as menu planning, cooking and cleaning
- Coordinate staff rosters and assist with payroll and billing
- Managing incidents and conflict as they arise, including debriefing, reporting and engaging with response teams
- Building and maintaining relationships with our clients, their families, staff, peers, other services and stakeholders

About you
- Experience in a leadership role desirable, ideally within the disability sector or related field
- Ability to consistently multitask
- Excellent administrative skills, including the use of MS Office programs, especially Excel
- High levels of enthusiasm, initiative and a positive attitude while acting with integrity, honesty and respect
- Have a NSW Working With Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
