**Personal Support Worker**

We have a 24 hour shift available working every Sunday between 8.00am - 8.00am the next morning. There also will be another opportunity to work another 24-hour shift during the week.

This position will be casual but will offer more work as long as you have the willingness to work.
- Toorak location
- Every Sunday 8.00 am - 8.00 am the following day.
- Immediate Start

**About the role**:
To take on this rewarding role you will need to possess great communication skills as well as being compassionate and have the patience to assist our clients that will need your support while living at home. You will need to have experience within the aged care and home care industry. As a support worker you will need to have some flexibility and availability to travel a short distance to and from clients’ homes. What really matters is that you as a support worker will maintain a safe and professional relationship with clients while understanding and being respectful of their individuality and diversity while reporting to the team leader.

**You will be assisting our clients with**:

- Personal care
- Respite care
- Shopping
- Social support
- Domestic care
- Meal preparation
- Transporting to appointments

**To be successful you will need to have**:

- Willing to work a 24-hour shift.
- Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, or Certificate IV in Individual Support or Disability
- Have valid driver’s license,
- Have a reliable and registered vehicle and current car insurance.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Current Manual Handling certificate practical (can obtain while in the screening process)
- Current national police clearance (within 2.5 years) or a NDIS clearance check
- Must be reliable and have the willingness to work.
- Good communication skills
- Have working with children’s check employee.
- Proof of covid 19 vaccinations
- Proof of flu vaccination
