**About the role**:
The role will provide in home care to our clients that will need assistance with their daily needs such as Personal care, domestic assistance, and other care essentials. You will report any incidents /hazards to our home care services Team Leader and our Support Coordinator who will assist you with any issues and help maintain a professional conduct. This rewarding role will help develop your skills and, most importantly give you the experience to further your career.

**You will be assisting our clients with**:

- Personal care
- Respite care
- Shopping
- Social support
- Domestic care
- Meal preparation
- Transporting to appointments

**About you**:
If you have recently completed your Certificate III in individual support and wanting to become a Personal support worker who will provide culturally appropriate support to our aged care clients, this role is for you. As a Support worker you will need to possess great communication skills and be willing to think on your feet while having empathy and have a passion for helping our vulnerable clients. You will promote and maintain client’s independence, respect, dignity, choice, and privacy. We want to make sure that our qualified personal support workers maintain a safe and professional relationship with clients while understanding and being respectful of their individuality and diversity.

**To be successful**:

- Certificate III in individual support or higher
- Have valid driver’s license,
- Have a reliable and registered vehicle and current car insurance.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Current Manual Handling certificate (will need to obtain while in the screening process)
- Current national police clearance (within 2.5 years) or a NDIS clearance check
- Must be available to work mornings, Mon-Fri
- Must be reliable and have the willingness to work
- Good communication skills
- Have working with children’s check employee
- Willing to travel to and from client’s homes.
- Proof of covid 19 vaccinations
- Proof of flu vaccination
