We at BodeWell community care are looking for Personal support workers to join our friendly team of professionals. We are looking for passionate support workers who will deliver home care to our vulnerable clients living in the South/Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

**About the role**:
The role will provide in Home care to our clients that will need assistance with their daily needs such as Personal care, Domestic assistance, and other care essentials. You will report any incidents /hazards to our home care services team leader and our support Coordinator who will assist you with any issues and help maintain a professional conduct. This rewarding role will help develop your skills and, most importantly give you the experience to further your career.

**You will be assisting our clients with**:

- Personal care
- Respite care
- Shopping
- Social support
- Domestic care
- Meal preparation
- Transporting to appointments

**About you**:
We are looking for Personal Support Workers who will provide culturally appropriate support to our aged care clients living at home that need assistance with everyday living or are living with a disability. Our home care services include, Domestic, Respite and personal care services to our clients. As a Support worker you will promote and maintain client’s independence, respect, dignity, choice, and privacy. We want to make sure that our qualified personal support workers maintain a safe and professional relationship with clients while understanding and being respectful of their individuality and diversity.

**To be successful**:

- Certificate III or higher
- Have valid driver’s license,
- Have a reliable and registered vehicle and current car insurance.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Current Manual Handling certificate practical face to face (can obtain while in the screening process)
- Current national police clearance (within 2.5 years) or a NDIS clearance check
- Must be available to work mornings, Mon-Fri
- Must be reliable and have the willingness to work
- Good communication skills
- Have working with children’s check employee
- Willing to travel to and from client’s homes (min 30 min)
- Proof of covid 19 vaccinations
- Proof of flu vaccination
