**What we are looking for**:
Are you a qualified Support worker who would like to work with our vulnerable clients and looking for a casual position? This job might be for you.

As a Support worker you will need to possess great communication skills and be willing to think on your feet while having empathy and have a passion for helping our vulnerable clients. You will promote and maintain client’s independence, respect, dignity, choice, and privacy. We want to make sure that our qualified personal support workers maintain a safe and professional relationship with clients while understanding and being respectful of their individuality and diversity.

**About the role**:
To take on this rewarding role you will need to possess great communication skills as well as being compassionate and have the patience to assist our clients that will need your support while living at home. You will need to have experience within the aged care and home care industry. As a support worker you will need to have some flexibility and availability to travel a short distance to and from clients’ homes. What really matters is that you as a support worker will maintain a safe and professional relationship with clients while understanding and being respectful of their individuality and diversity while reporting to the team leader.

**You will be assisting our clients with**:

- Personal care
- Respite care
- Shopping
- Social support
- Domestic care
- Meal preparation
- Transporting to appointments

**To be successful you will need to have**:

- Certificate III in individual support
- Have valid driver’s license,
- Have a reliable and registered vehicle and current car insurance.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Current Manual Handling certificate practical (can obtain while in the screening process)
- Current national police clearance (within 2.5 years) or a NDIS clearance check
- Must be available to work mornings, Mon-Fri
- Must be reliable and have the willingness to work
- Good communication skills
- Have working with children’s check employee
- Willing to travel to and from client’s homes (max 30min)
- Proof of covid 19 vaccinations
- Proof of flu vaccination
