**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a **Roster Officer** to be part of our Parramatta Police Area Command team. The Roster Officer provides efficient and effective coordination and management of the rostering portfolio, utilising all human resources available to achieve corporate, community and command requirements.

To be successful in the role the following is required:

- Previous experience using rostering systems (e.g. kronos) to roster teams.
- Extensive experience in scheduling / rostering.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake detailed work and maintain.
- Information systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Initiative, a proactive attitude, and the ability to multitask.
- Ability to thrive under tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment.

The role provides expert advice to stakeholders on rostering needs, industrial award entitlements and business rules. Describe the challenges of the role and how you would respond to resolving the challenge.
