**About the role**:
Working in Ecolab’s Healthcare division and based in Mulgrave, we are seeking a highly motivated Service Specialist to join our high-growth, innovation, and market leading business unit covering Victoria. We provide service, equipment and consumable solutions across a wide variety of healthcare areas including Infection Control, Endoscopy, Central Sterilising and Operating Theatres.
In this role, you will conduct water testing in accordance with AS/NZ 4187 within Hospitals, Day Surgeries, Clinics and some Aged Care facilities. This is an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge and experience to grow your career in healthcare.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Undertake monthly site visits to ensure product supply and system conformity
- Complete pump calibrations on all manual sinks
- Conduct minor fixes, process improvements, demonstrations and implementation of standards including basic Validation of equipment
- Maintain customer information regularly through CRM
- Identify upsell/cross sell leads for the sales team / respective AM
- Building strong customer relationships
- Travel within Victoria and Tasmania, including the occasional overnight stay.
**By nature, you will ideally demonstrate**:
- Observe compliance with safety policies and demonstrates safety behaviours.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build, maintain and retain relationships
- A positive and enthusiastic approach to solving challenges to exceed client expectations
- Be a self-starter with a positive desire to succeed
- Ability to work cross functionally across a diverse company
**Technically, you will preferably have the following**:
- A Trade or a “hands-on/practical” background
- Ability to work at all levels
- A full unrestricted driver’s license
- Ability to manage early morning onsite commencement around 6:30am.
- Mechanical aptitude
The role offers a high degree of autonomy and will suit a professional, well organised self-starter.
