**About the role**:
The Coordinator Social Outcomes and Place will work collaboratively with the Executive Manager Community Life and a range of internal and external stakeholders to strategically plan for the future needs of the Campbelltown community, as well as deliver initiatives to enable thriving places and communities. This role leads a multi-disciplinary team focused on understanding social and community trends, infrastructure needs, and delivering responsive programs and policies that support vibrant public places and precincts. It requires strong leadership to deliver outcomes aligned with the Community Strategic Plan, Operational Plan, and supporting strategies. The role leads a team to prioritise and deliver place-based initiatives that create high-quality public spaces in partnership with stakeholders and the community, driving significant positive change across the city. In addition, this role and their team deliver economic development outcomes for the local economy and business community.
- Tertiary qualifications in one or more of the following areas or similar: Land Use Planning, Community Engagement, Community Development, Cultural Development, Leadership, Social Policy or a similar relevant field.

- Demonstrated expertise in social planning, land use planning, community engagement and capacity building, economic development or cultural planning.
- Demonstrated experience researching, analysing and integrating social, economic and environmental data and trends at a place level and incorporating this information into place based initiatives and the social planning process.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, support and manage a dynamic and multidisciplinary team and contractors to deliver programs and services that achieve organisational goals.
- Demonstrated ability to work with external stakeholders including service providers and community representatives to achieve measurable community outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers and colleagues from across an organisation on cross-divisional priorities.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills, demonstrating the capacity to influence, collaborate and negotiate.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver strategic outcomes when problem solving and addressing community issues.
