We have a rare opportunity available for a Commercial and Administration guru to join our supportive Catering team based in **Melbourne** on a **full-time permanent**basis.

As Commercial and Administration Officer, and supporting the Operations Manager, you will have a can-do attitude, strong organizational and communication skills, keen eye for detail and excellent analytical skills.
This role is responsible for the provision of effective and efficient administrative support and billing and reconciling (invoices) assistance to the local Unit. This role is also responsible for managing the allocated ledger of accounts receivable in a high volume and fast paced environment.
**In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are**:
- Ensure accurate and timely billing of customers.
- Collate and check source documents for accuracy (deliveries, consignments, billing) from various ports and airlines.
- Update and maintain the Purchasing Order (PO) register.
- Raise and issue invoices/credit notes.
- Be the main point of contract for all supplier invoice queries.
- Resolve billing issues in a timely manner
- Timely delivery of weekly reporting and distribution of reconciled customer statements.
- Reliable monitoring of performance and development of action plans to resolve any issues identified.
- Ensure execution of revenue related internal controls through managing systems, contractual commitments, delegated authorities and SOPs.
- Communicate with Operations Manager regarding payment disputes, system failures or any data entry errors.
- General administrative support duties as assigned.
**What do you need to be successful in securing this role?**
- Demonstrated success in a similar role.
- Knowledge and experience in general administration in a high volume, fast paced environment, and a particular focus on billing, invoice reconciliation and queries.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in Microsoft Office programs.
- Exposure to ERP or Billing system preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to self-manage and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical skills as well as close attention to detail.
- Intermediate computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
