**Communications Advisor**

**Parramatta Location (hybrid)**

**Ongoing Full-Time Role**

**Salary - Clerk Grade 7/8 $110,266-$122,058 plus superannuation and leave loading**

**Your role**
- As a Communications Advisor in our External Communications Team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering strategic communications that support Homes NSW’s vision to deliver quality homes and services that change lives and end homelessness. Your work and efforts will help build stronger communities, improve the lives of countless individuals and families and will create a fairer, more inclusive society where everyone has access to safe and affordable housing.

**What you’ll do**

This role will deliver, facilitate and implement communications activities to support the delivery of programs and initiatives related to Homes NSW.

In addition to this, the responsibilities of this role will also include:

- Coordinating a range of communication and engagement plans and activities to support the delivery of projects, strategies and policies that align with the department and government goals
- Developing communication materials to execute over a range of channels
- Collaborating with key internal business units to provide strategic communications advice and solutions to meet project objectives
- Providing project support to the communications team
- Designing and implementing communication strategies and approaches that capture the attention of our stakeholders and communities

**What we’re looking for**
- Experience in an external communications function designing and implementing communication strategies
- Knowledge of contemporary trends and emerging technologies and best practices
- Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Stakeholder relationships & project management: Strong skills in building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional written and verbal and communication skills
- High attention to detail with an eye for creativity
