The City of Parramatta Council is currently looking for a Marketing and Communications Advisor to join the team, leading the end to end marketing focusing on business marketing and positioning Parramatta as the centre of global Sydney and an ideal place to invest. Individuals with proven experience in leading the development and implementation of b2b marketing and communications campaigns and initiatives to:

- Develop powerful City and Council marketing, promotions, communications, advocacy, partnerships and programs to achieve Council and City goals and objectives
- Positively position Parramatta as a destination of choice for people to invest, do business and study
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders with influence to achieve goals and objectives

**About the Role**

The Marketing & Communications Advisor is responsible for:

- Creating and executing integrated marketing, promotion and communications tactical campaigns and initiatives that aligns with the City and Council brand to increase the positive profile of the City and Council, and drive consideration, visitation and investment to the City.
- Managing activity to cross functionally design, coordinate, and deliver tactical marketing and communications that actively reach and target identified market segments to achieve strategic objectives.
- Effective and efficient management of projects to ensure high quality and timely delivery of campaigns
- Managing the marketing and communications activities for Council and City which are data-driven and with a digital first approach
- Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal collaboration to achieve strategic marketing and communications objectives
