**The Opportunity**

The Specialist Exploration Contracts role will support the execution of exploration programs by managing contract compliance, equipment suitability, and data integrity, whilst optimising operational performance through analysis and reporting.

You will play a crucial role maintaining contract integrity, optimizing service delivery, engaging with our Technical Services Leadership team to ensure strategic alignment across exploration and drilling operations.

This position will report directly to our Manager Operations and Logistic, you will be part of a broader team and be based at our MinRes HQ Office and occasionally oversee projects up onsite.

Key responsibilities may include:

- Lead the end-to-end tender process by drafting tender documents, conducting detailed analysis of submissions, preparing comprehensive recommendation reports, and engaging with all relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and informed decision-making
- Ensure that all exploration programmes are being executed within the constraints of the agreed contracts in place
- Ensuring the correct equipment is used to support the exploration projects.
- Compile, analyse and evaluate information and prepare reports to inform decision making with a view to maintaining and modifying operational performance and service delivery, as well as risk management.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data metrics related to the Exploration contracts.
- Ensure that a regular cadence of audits and compliance checks to maintain the integrity of contract.
- Schedule monthly contract meetings in line with an agreed agenda together with properly tracked actions.
- Coordinate with Procurement monthly contract meetings between Principals and Contract Partners.
- Coordinate with Procurement quarterly contract meetings between E&G Management team and contract partners.
- Oversee and coordinate the end-to-end management of Exploration-specific software license contracts and purchase orders (POs), including technical contract and consultant onboarding support.
- Provide ongoing analysis and general PO administration to ensure compliance, efficiency, and alignment with operational requirements.

**What is required?**
- Tertiary Qualification: preferably commercial and/or technical related to Mining & Exploration environments
- Experience in a similar role in a strategic sourcing, procurement, contract management or commercial team, managing large projects or teams effectively to deliver commercial & regulatory outcomes
- Exploration drilling experience across a multitude of drill styles (RC, Diamond, Waterbore, Sonic etc)
- Experience managing competing priorities in a fast paced environment, including conflict resolution
- Ability to communicate effectively and constructively with senior business leaders and other technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work within large multi-disciplinary teams and strong stakeholder engagement ability.
