**THE ROLE**

The **Cloud Technical Lead** will primarily ensure the stability of our banking clients in public cloud as part of our SaaS banking services. The role will ensure that our cloud deployments, cloud infrastructure and associated services meets our cloud security standards including defining and maintaining security controls.
The role will support and interact with other Temenos teams - Regional Cloud Implementation, Cloud Architecture, Cloud Operations, IT security, Product and Compliance/Audit/Risk. This role will also have a client facing element in supporting our SaaS clients and the incumbent should be comfortable in such environments.

**OPPORTUNITIES**
- You will understand and contribute to cloud architecture and design patterns.
- You will review and validation of cloud security controls across public and private infrastructure in Azure and AWS.
- You will be responsible for providing security solution advisory and consulting (e.g., integration with 3rd party systems, architecture reviews, documentation of security processes)
- You will support Cloud operations including security alerts, incident, change control and reporting, aligning process improvements, globally.
- You will support the delivery of client projects in the region and collaborate on planning and execution activities requiring cloud security involvement.
- You will conduct assessments for cloud infrastructure and cloud service providers.
- You will support internal and external audits, risks and compliance initiatives.
- You will ensure cloud security standards and patterns are followed and adhered to
- You will take care of the documentation and maintenance of cloud infrastructure standards and processes
- You will review and supervise technical System Amendment Requests (SARs) and process changes.(L1 developments)
- You will be working closely with clients, project team members and Regional and Local development teams (L2 & L3) to develop a robust and viable architecture related to customer value and business benefit
- You will actively provide advice and guidance to the client on environment management and release control between various pre-live environments
- You will obtain client agreement on proposed technical solutions including end to end process overviews
- You will complete Solution Design Document for technical areas as defined in work package
- You will define technical solution for customization and configuration needs for TEMENOS products as per agreed technical definitions.
- You will support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) where required from a continuity perspective on projects
- You will be liaising with the TEMENOS maintenance groups to ensure that the product problems identified are understood and resolved.
- You will make best use of Technical architecture and best use of TEMENOS Client services tools.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- You should have **experience in information/cyber security with recent cloud security experience.**:

- You should have recent **hands-on experience with securing cloud infrastructure in Azure.**:

- You should have **DevOps and automation experience** to help manage transitions.
- You should have **recognized industry certifications/qualifications in cloud.**:

- You should have **strong knowledge of common cloud security design patterns/frameworks.**:

- You should have **good understanding of cloud technologies and associated deployment patterns**.
- You should have good knowledge of WAF and Firewall technologies.
- You should be active in coaching the Technical Consultants
- You should be able to provide cloud support to clients by analyzing incidents and operations in a fast-paced environment.
- You should have solid understanding of current and recent tactics/techniques and procedures for preventing common attack types
- You should have previous experience in incident response in a public/private cloud environment
- You should be able to communicate effectively both oral and written; able to explain Azure concepts to different audience appropriate business, technical terms.
