How will you bring our values to life?

As our Learning and Development Specialist, you will put our values up in lights by delivering these activities and outcomes:

- Facilitate, evaluate and prioritise organisational development and training needs of staff in line with ABB’s objectives and strategic targets
- Create, deliver, and evaluate a dynamic learning experience across ABB, using contemporary learning models and practices (including e-Learning, face-to-face, etc)
- Contribute to capability frameworks, use contemporary authoring tools to create content and build learning programs
- Work with managers to determine L&D needs, and were required, assist with individual plans and career pathways
- Lead the development and delivery of strategic learning and development initiatives
- Undertake other activities as required (for example, system administration, LMS support)

If you like the sound of that, here’s some other things we’d love to see
- Experience in a Learning and Development, Instructional Design or Facilitation/Training role
- Qualifications in Learning and Development (for example, qualifications in Training and Assessment, Education, Learning, HR etc)
- An understanding of the Telco or similar industries, ideally with experience in Sales and Customer Service/Contact Centre environments
- Sound experience in learning delivery, including coaching and classroom facilitation, with the aim to improve performance and knowledge for staff
- High level personal organisation and time management skills, with the ability to achieve goals and prioritise work while dealing with uncertainty
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An engaging facilitation style that can be adapted to various audiences
- Experience using learning management systems (LMS) or other HRIS (for example, Workday Learning, Articulate)
- High level stakeholder management and the ability to collaborate and influence at all levels, both internally and externally
- Thought leadership - a commitment to translate modern adult learning theory and practice into practical business solutions, and the ability to relate this to ABB’s purpose and values
- Experience with video editing, graphic design, gamification, SharePoint, and social media content creation
- Demonstrated ability to:
