Our client is a leading Management Consultancy in the Asia Pacific, focusing on Supply Chain transformation. They work with renown global brands and have recently merged with another leading consulting group, strengthening their capabilities.

They have a mandate to triple in size over the next 3 years, and due to this have decided to create this newly appointed position.

**The Role**

The Talent & HR Specialist is responsible for managing recruitment activity in partnership with managers and leaders, as well as providing generalist HR advice and policy implementation.

Reporting directly to one of the Partners, this is an opportunity for someone to take ownership of recruitment processes and providing advice and guidance to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, this will also require the development and implementation of improved recruitment processes and systems.

This role is primarily focused on recruitment as the major priority (approx. 80%), with the remaining 20% to be utilised for necessary HR projects in consultation with leadership.

**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate recruitment activities in partnership with managers and provide advice, coaching and support to ensure the accurate and efficient appointment of new employees.
- Review, develop and implement recruitment, attraction and sourcing processes and systems that maximise efficiencies and ensure recruitment best practice.
- Conduct recruitment activities that ensure the organisation maintains a workforce profile it needs to effectively deliver business outcomes.
- Develop strong working relationships with managers, employees, and suppliers.
- Maintain professional development and relevant industry and market knowledge.
- Develop and promote the Employee Value Proposition (EVP), attraction strategies, benefits, culture and values to prospective new hires and internal and external stakeholders.
- Review, develop and implement policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure recruitment and people management practices reflect contemporary thinking, comply with relevant regulatory requirements and are responsive to changing organisation and stakeholder needs.
- Collect, analyse, and report on workplace data to inform decision making and meet organisational reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain a range of corporate documentation to a professional standard, including policies, procedures, guidelines, checklists, and other resources.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in internal Talent Acquisition and generalist Human Resources.
- Proven success in managing best practice, internal end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding activities.
- Ability to develop and implement recruitment systems and processes to increase efficiencies and maximise the return on investment of time, finances and resources for all parties included in the recruitment process.
- Demonstrated experience in change management in implementing new recruitment and HR initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare a range of recruitment and employment documentation to a professional standard, including interview guides, employment policies, procedures, templates, contracts, and correspondence.
- Sound knowledge of legislative and regulatory frameworks and compliance obligations in relation to recruitment.
- Demonstrated ability to remain agile and flexible in an entrepreneurial and dynamic organisation.
- Maintain an open-minded approach to feedback, suggestions, and collaboration in an agile workplace.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to utilise professional judgement.
- Ability to set realistic deadlines and complete work, and persuade others to complete work, on time.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
- Degree level qualification in human resource management, industrial relations, organisational psychology or related discipline or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience. (desirable)
- Previous experience in a management consultancy environment.(desirable)

**Good to know**

This role will also have a 20% bonus component (details to be advised). The team is quite a social bunch and all employees are provided with lunch and coffees from the local cafe.
