**About the Role**
This is an opportunity for a highly experienced Contract Superintendent who is passionate about iconic building infrastructure projects.
We are looking for an experienced Contract Superintendent to assist the Commonwealth Games Group with the delivery of the Commonwealth Games projects. The Commonwealth Games projects are located in multiple locations in regional Victoria.
The Superintendency role requires strong contract management and Superintendency experience, including significant experience in the management of major construction packages, project controls including the areas of cost, risk, programme, quality management and contractual/commercial management across a range of procurement and delivery models and frameworks.
As the Superintendent you will have the opportunity to; work collaboratively with all stakeholders, provide Superintendent services on major construction contracts as well as providing leadership and mentoring to emerging Contract Administrators and Superintendents.
**About You**
- You are passionate about iconic civic infrastructure projects that will have a lasting legacy in Victoria
- You have appropriate qualifications and experience in engineering, project management, law, construction, or related fields
- You have at least ten years experience in the construction industry and have extensive knowledge of and experience in complex large scale construction projects such as **Managing Contractor contracts, Guaranteed Maximum Price contracts and Design & Construct contracts**:
- You have exceptional communication skills including; relationship management of both public and private sector stakeholders, written communication and exceptional negotiation skills
- You are skilled at-risk management and actively identify, analyze, and mitigate any risks that may impact on project objectives and communicate and escalate significant risks to the appropriate manager
- You are motivated by complex challenges and enjoy problem solving
