The Company & Benefits:
This is a wonderful 12-month contract opportunity to step up from being an Accounts Payable Officer to taking on all Bank Reconciliation duties, for this high profile & respected Australian organization. This role requires an experienced and competent Accounts Payable Officer (or similar), who is experienced, and also committed to, managing all fortnightly bank reconciliations.

$35-$40 per hour - 38hrs a week.

This large and respected Australian organisation is based in the Sydney CBD. It boasts stunning harbour and Opera House views from their new and modern offices located within minutes of public transport. They have a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days' per week from home.

Key responsibilities include:

- Maintaining and interpreting supplier contracts
- Coordinating and processing payments in a timely, accurate and effective manner.
- Responding to supplier queries with knowledge and professionalism
- Complete bank reconciliations daily for all bank accounts
- Reconcile third party payment platforms
- Complete weekly clean-up of EFT and cash
- Liaise with third party platforms, IT, and customer service to ensure all transactions are processed correctly.
- Assist the financial accountant with any ad-hoc financial tasks

Qualifications / Previous experience:

- 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting and bank recs
- Have good analytical skills and able to work independently.
- Strong Excel knowledge (preferably advanced)
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail
