**Could you be our next bank reconciliation officer?**
Due to growth within the business, we are looking for a bank reconciliation officer to join the Finance Team and oversee the process. This is a full-time role with flexible working arrangements.

**Your day to day will involve**:

- Use online merchant portals to prepare breakdown of daily merchant receipts and refunds, reconciling against bulk bank receipts
- Reconciliation of all BPAY and EFT payments and refunds based on advice from internal stakeholders
- Reconciliation of bank payments against Netsuite accounting file, liaising with Accounts Payable team as necessary
- Manage and reconcile all bank accounts across the business (including PayPal and overseas accounts)
- Identify discrepancies in the bank reconciliations and maintain contact with merchants and internal stakeholders (e.g.: showroom managers and sales administrators) to resolve
- Aid in refining the bank reconciliation process including supporting documents and procedures
- Ad-hoc requests from internal stakeholders to prevent and address discrepancies arising in the bank reconciliation process
- Adhere to corporate standards and procedures in all reconciliation activities

**Your skills and experience (essential)**:

- Degree in Accountancy
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the desire to actively collaborate with multiple departments
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Intermediate Excel skills

**Your skills and experience (preferred)**:

- Experience in the retail industry
- Familiarity with NetSuite ERP
