**The Opportunity**
To manage the finishing maintenance team including planning and scheduling of maintenance tasks through the SAP maintenance system, thus improving maintenance team performance, efficiency and cost control.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Day to day management of the finishing maintenance team
- Management of work orders from notifications from other personnel on site
- Carry out planning for maintenance tasks for finishing, including determining the scope of work, tools, parts and resources needed to safely and successfully complete these tasks
- Create SAP revisions for allocating work to maintenance days / planned events
- Produce maintenance day plans including lists of work orders and work type for planned activities
- Assist with breakdowns or emergent work as required.
- Ensure that all purchasing documentation is processed in a timely manner
- Participate in factory safety and quality audit programs
- Conduct regular training needs analysis to ensure skills gaps are identified and operator bench strength and succession is planned for.
- Build and promote a positive and efficient team environment through recognition
- Ensure all Quality, Safety and Production targets are met or exceeded

**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline (preferably mechanical and/or electrical) highly regarded or any related qualification with minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing continuous process improvement roles
- Extensive CMMS Maintenance, with preference for SAP Maintenance
- High level of attention to detail
- Experience using Microsoft Project
- Able to work to strict deadlines
- Able to work as part of a team, gathering information from many sources, and to work in a self-directed manner to fulfil the job requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a high performing maintenance team
- Demonstrate resilience to meet challenging targets and timeframes
