What does the job look like?

Join our team as a Transport Coordinator, working on a dynamic contract with a major beverage company. Based in our Customer Tullamarine Operation, you will play a key role in executing daily load plans deliveries across Melbourne's metropolitan area, focusing on the maximization of company asset and driver utilization.

This permanent PM shift role operates Monday-Friday, with working hours from 2:00pm to 10pm. As part of a 24/6 operation, flexibility in working hours is expected, and availability during peak periods is required.
- Collaborate with BevChain drivers, subcontractors, and our tier-one beverage customer to deliver exceptional service and satisfaction.
- Supervise subcontractors and fleet requirements to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of daily workloads
- Manage all transport documentation, including load weight/time, constraints, PODs, driver run sheets, transfers, RDOs, etc.
- Ensure all KPI reports are precise and accurate, ensuring their alignment with customer expectations
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety and compliance by actively participating in risk management, audits, work site visits, SWATs, and engaging in discussions with site personnel

Are you the one?
- Demonstrated experience as a Transport Allocator/Scheduler in a busy logistics environment
- Great understanding of Melbourne's metropolitan area to optimise delivery routes and schedules
- In-depth understanding of load configurations, weights, and truck trailer type allocation
- Strong knowledge of mass management regulations and compliance, ensuring efficient and legal load distribution
- Proficiency in MS Suite and utilising a TMS and WMS
- Excellent communication and time management skills
