The delivery of quality VET training products and excellent students support service, leading to creation of positive word-of-mouth enabling ABSC to satisfy and expand its customer base, allowing the business to maintain profitability and meet business and Australian Vocational Education & Training (VET) industry compliance requirements.

**The role**: _**CHC Trainers**_

We are seeking a pool of Trainers to deliver in Community Services Training in Sydney.

We're currently seeking trainers for the following courses:
**CHC33021 - Certificate III in Individual Support**

**CHC43121 - Certificate IV in Disability**

**CHC52021 - Diploma of Community Services**

**Criteria**

ABSC Trainers and Assessors must meet the following criteria.

1. Hold TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A unit and TAEASS502 unit, or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a higher-level adult education qualification

2. Hold the qualification/s they are delivering and be able to map their experience to the qualification(s) they are delivering.

3. Have recent experience, or have maintained industry currency in the relevant sector (e.g. Aged Care, Disability Care)

4. Have participated in activities or professional development ensuring a solid understanding of current VET practices and requirements

5. Current Working with Children Check

The above criteria are essential and ABSC is unable to employ Trainers who do not meet the above requirements. Only applicants that meet the essential criteria and progress to the interview stage will be contacted.

For Trainers in Aged Care-related qualifications, being a Registered Nurse with current registration is also highly desirable.

**Tasks include**:
Delivering and assessing training programs in accordance with training package requirements

Engaging and encouraging students in classroom training

Sharing your knowledge and skills in your area of expertise

Adopting innovative learning strategies to enable students to achieve the relevant qualification

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract, Casual

**Salary**: $60,895.39 - $106,408.37 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burwood, NSW 2134: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
