**About the Registry**
The NSW Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages is an agency within the NSW Department of Customer Service. The Registry was formed in 1856 to register life events in NSW accurately and securely for all time. This includes the registration of births, deaths and marriages and official changes of name and sex.
**About the team**
This role sits within the Business Performance Division in the Facilities & Procurement team. The team manages the facilities requirements of the agency to maintain the outstanding office & facility appearance for marriage ceremony and staff. Additionally, it supports in the agency’s financial and procurement aspects to ensure smooth operations.
**Your day-to-day**
- Manage the team’s activities and balance the resourcing needs to meet the agency’s demand
- Liaising with stakeholders to ensure all facilities & procurement requirements are met
- Work with business to identify opportunities to improve internal procurement, financial and administrative functions
- Collaborate with the marriage services division to ensure all logistics and requirements are met for service delivery
- Ensure the agency’s building security are met
- Manage the Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) and contracts in line with agency & DCS’ policies
