The Head of Registry Services is responsible for driving and directing all aspects of the Registry function at Perpetual Australia including operational ownership of the external Registry administrators and the internal Contact Centre team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. A key focus of the role will involve Transformation and execution of initiatives to support Target Operating Model.

- Lead the Registry function through significant change to amalgamate the Perpetual and Pendal teams to a single best practice operating model, including design and implementation- Ensure that the external registry administrator delivers high-quality registry services that meet or exceed the company's service level agreements- Lead and manage a team of engaged registry professionals, providing guidance, support, and training- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the external registry administrator, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed- Ensure that the registry function complies with regulatory requirements and industry standards- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Product, Distribution, Client Service and Operational leads- Awareness and alignment on Business Strategy and support initiatives in respect of unlisted, listed and Super/Pension Products as required- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management- Stay up to date with industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities to improve the operating model and the delivery of registry services- Manage the day-to-day operations of the contact centre team, ensuring the highest standards of service are provided to all customers- Manage the performance of the contact centre team, including monitoring call quality, providing feedback, and coaching, and creating and implementing training programs- Manage agreed operating budget for the team- Drive change, innovation, and continuous improvement within the function

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and experience could include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Finance or related field- At least 10 years of experience in Registry Operations, with a proven track record of managing outsourcing processes and relationships- 5+ yrs experience leading Registry, Contact Centre or similar teams- Strong understanding of registry processes and systems, asset management workflows, as well as regulatory requirements and industry standards- Strong experience of Superannuation/Pension, Unlisted and Listed Products and associated Registry servicing needs- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
