Immediate start Full time temporary Admin Officer role based in the Hobart CBD

**Your new company**
Based in the Hobart CBD, this position sits within the Tasmanian Health Sector, the largest department of all Tasmanian Government agencies.

**Your new role**
You will provide high level business, secretarial and administrative support to a busy department. Your core duties will be:

- Gather and source research and information from stakeholders
- Collect surgical / pathology reports and medical images / reports together with clinical correspondence where necessary
- Collate findings to then pass on to data entry team
- Set up, maintain, and update databases and spreadsheets
- Any other ad hoc administration support required

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful, you:

- Must be precise, thorough, accurate and, methodical
- Have good communication skills
- Have MS Office Suite capabilities
- Must work from office 5 days a week
- Must have the ability to work with information systems (training to be provided)
- Must have a current police check
- Have a high level of initiative, eye for detail and be able to prioritise competing demands and work well under pressure

**What you'll get in return**
You will receive an attractive casual hourly rate and work during standard business hours, Monday to Friday, completing a 38-hour standard week for at least 12 weeks with a possibility of an extension. You will get the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a busy environment providing vital health service to Tasmanians.
