**About the Role**:
As the HR Advisor, you will be stepping into a newly created role to provide HR advice, support, and assistance to the organisation on existing HR policies, procedures, and issues, throughout the full life cycle of their employees. You will report to and work very closely with the COO on leading the development of current HR initiatives and the further optimisation of HR Systems.

You will provide guidance to help to reshape the organisation's values and culture and HR Practices that are in line with its strategic plan and vision.

You will be the go-to person for all things HR.

**About the Person**:
You will be a people person that is motivated and wants to take ownership of the organisations HR function. You will have the ability to think and operate strategically with a ‘hands-on’ approach. You will be someone that is comfortable contributing to the conversation around HR with Executive Leaders.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Provide HR advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and issues, through the full life cycle of employees, consult with Executive Leaders
- Maintain and develop the performance review infrastructure eg. position descriptions, KPIs, staff communications, and line manager training/coaching
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and induction program
- Consult, educate and build the capability of line managers around performance management
- Lead discussions on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training & development
- Lead the WHS Compliance within the organisation
- Manage and maintain the administration of the HR system & maximise the value of the platform and drive efficiencies

**To be successful you will have**:

- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline
- Experience as a HR Specialist, Generalist, or Officer
- Think and operate strategically with a “hands-on” approach
- Ability to develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
- Experience facilitating HR conversations in the workplace
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills
- A passion for HR and a team player
- Experience using CRM & HR Admin Systems eg. Connex etc
