Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and dynamic Communication Specialist to join our team at KayalFoods Pty Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to effectively convey our brand messaging, enhance stakeholder engagement, and promote a positive public image for the company.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to effectively convey the company's brand messaging and key messages to internal and external stakeholders.

2. Create engaging and compelling content for various communication channels, including but not limited to press releases, newsletters, blog posts, website content, and social media posts.

3. Manage media relations, including building and maintaining relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers, and pitching story ideas to secure media coverage.

4. Serve as a spokesperson for the company, handling media inquiries, interviews, and press conferences as needed.

5. Monitor media coverage and industry trends, and provide timely analysis and reports on relevant topics to internal stakeholders.

6. Coordinate internal communications initiatives, including employee newsletters, intranet content, and company-wide announcements, to ensure consistent and transparent communication across the organization.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, human resources, and operations, to align communication efforts with overall business objectives and initiatives.

8. Assist in crisis communication planning and management, including drafting statements, managing communication channels, and providing support to key stakeholders during crisis situations.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.

2. Proven experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related field, preferably within the food and hospitality industry.

3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling messages for diverse audiences.

4. Strong media relations skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with media contacts and secure positive media coverage.

5. Proficiency in creating content for various communication channels, including press releases, articles, social media, and digital platforms.

6. Crisis communication experience and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

7. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

8. Team player with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only
