**Estimating Officer**

As a result of our continued growth and $1 billion work-in-hand, Georgiou is offering an exciting opportunity for an Estimating Officer to assist our NSW Business Unit and continue to sustain our growth. While supporting to develop and maintaining up-to-date information on Subcontractors and Suppliers, You will assist our Estimators in the preparation of tender submissions (tender estimates, quantity take-off, scope, methodology and construction programmes), in conjunction with the estimating team with the view of winning tenders
You will be further exposed, upskilled and working primarily on large civil infrastructure projects/tenders/submissions across NSW. There is a clear pathway for this role to progress into a solid Estimator in our team for the high performing individual. Our estimating team is experienced, has a strong desire to make an impact in our role, and willing to go out of their way to help each other and drive to do things better and constantly raise the bar.
**What you’re good at**:
Aside from recently having Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar profession, You’re a people person and a self-starter with similar estimating/tendering experience within in the building and construction industry, someone with:

- Practical understanding of technical software (AutoCAD and Terramodel /12D) and Microsoft Office suite
- A valid “C” class driver licence.
- The ability to communicate effectively and find it easy to build rapport with a wide variety of people, internally and externally
- Passion and the drive to make things happen to ensure tasks are delivered to a high-quality standard
- Ability to work unsupervised on your own initiative and as part of a wider team
- Organised and process orientated with the ability to manage conflicting timescales and priorities
