The Role: Insurance Building Estimator
- Direct Reporting: Work directly under the guidance of the Construction Manager.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately estimate and schedule repair projects.
- Utilise industry-leading technology to excel in estimating and supervising insurance repair work, achieving and exceeding KPIs.
- Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating outstanding written and verbal communication skills to build strong relationships and effectively manage conflicts.

- Preferred Experience: Familiarity with the insurance industry and water claim management is beneficial but not mandatory.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Qualifications: Trade qualification (carpentry preferred).
- Experience: Proven experience in estimating and scheduling repairs, with insurance-related experience being an advantage.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the National Construction Code, Building Regulations, and Workplace Health and Safety standards.
- Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency with mobile devices, repair management systems, and the Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to quickly learn new software.
- Ability to create, interpret, and work with detailed scopes of work.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail, ensuring top-quality repair outcomes.
- Proactive and a team player committed to meeting KPIs.
- Strong dedication to maintaining safety standards.
