We are a well established construction fit out company based in Pyrmont looking to hire an estimator due to growth and internal movements.

The Estimator role is to oversee all facets of the tender process and to work closely with the Managing Director, Tender Manager and the client to ensure that we meet all of their requirements and have the best opportunity to successfully win the job.

  • Oversee all facets of the Estimating process from inception to delivery, keeping the Managing Director and the team informed at all times.
  • Arrange and attend with key personnel any Pre-Tender site inspections and provide recommendations where appropriate.
  • Bill of Quantities to be decided on a job to job basis.
  • Cost Plan to be presented to the Managing Director for evaluation and approval 48 hours prior to submission.
  • Methodology and programme for tenders in conjunction with Tender Manager and Construction Manager.
  • Assist with tender proposal together with the Tender Manager.

About You

  • Must have minimum 5 years experience (3 years local experience in the fit out industry).
  • Full working rights.
  • NSW Drivers licenses and access to a car.
  • Must be able to work full-time in the office (no WFH).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
