**About the role**
Hansard has responsibility to accurately and promptly report the proceedings of the Parliament, the parliamentary committees and other forums and for the live broadcasting of Parliament and its committees.

Reporting to the Audiovisual and Broadcast Lead the technical and projects team provides specialist support, maintenance and project leadership in the broadcast, audio and audio-visual space. You will undertake maintenance on the Hansard audio & broadcast infrastructure, with a mixture of baseband and IP media transport and control. You will enjoy the challenge of diagnosing hardware/software faults and solving technical problems.

**About you**
To succeed in this role you have experience in the repair, maintenance and installation of audio, audiovisual and broadcasting equipment and facilities gained through working in an audiovisual, television or related industry. You will be a trusted employee who is able to work independently and within a small team environment. In addition, this role will suit someone who has a client-focused approach and an ability to communicate with a broad range of clients in order to deliver superior service.
