Working closely with various Government agencies and supporting the MRPV Project Development team, the Project Development Officer provides advice to improve consistency and quality of project development and business cases and assists the broader team to meet reporting, legislative and stakeholder requirements.

- Experience in road transport infrastructure projects, with desirably knowledge in the development of business cases and/or planning studies.
- Experience in considering strategic road transport issues, with desirably knowledge in economics and transport modelling.
- Capacity to identify technical issues, undertake technical investigations, analyse data, and provide recommendations and reports with appropriate resolutions, under guidance.
- Ability to monitor consultant and/or works contract progress, to ensure tasks are delivered in compliance with contract requirements, and to the satisfaction of the key stakeholders.

This role would suit someone who has worked on the early stages of infrastructure projects, and also has a high level of communication skills (both written and verbal). You are someone who has capacity to identify technical issues, undertake technical investigations, analyse data, can consolidate information and provide recommendations and reports that communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
