The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking two Technical Field Officers to provide a critical role within Technology Solutions and Data Security.

**About the Business Unit**

Technology Solutions and Data Security (TSDS) is delivering the Data and Digital Reform Agenda, which focuses on meeting the department's data and digital needs by providing responsive and sustainable services focused on supporting departmental outcomes.

**About the Role**

The purpose of this role to act as a technical liaison with key project stakeholders and to provide on-ground project assistance as required. Liaising with customers will include helping to develop their requirements, providing assistance to vendors, generating technical documentation, auditing and deploying hardware.

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience within a large ICT environment of location-based ICT (field) services practice, leading to successful ICT improvement or transformation creating realised business value.
- Knowledge and understanding of location-based ICT (field) services best practices, as well as knowledge of new or emerging technologies and their potential value to the organisation.
- Expertise in working on large projects and/or expertise in ICT delivery / support.
- A relevant tertiary or post graduate qualification is highly desirable.
- Valid Victorian Drivers Licence.
- Appropriate vocation qualifications and certifications. Eg - ITIL, Project Management, Agile, Software, Platforms, Cloud, Service management or Change Management are highly desirable.
