Overview:

- Registry Training Officer is responsible to the Coding Manager, South Australian Cancer Registry for the effective and efficient support and training of cancer coding Registry Officers by developing appropriate curricula, providing technical support, and conducting the training of personnel.
- The incumbent will examine, interpret and code cancer notifications, assist report preparation, participate in quality assurance activities and undertake special projects for public
- health surveillance and related purposes, while providing advice to other Registry Officers.

**Criminal History Screening Requirement**
- A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

**Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (mínimal patient contact)**
