**Position Overview**
The role is part of the Court and Tribunal Services of the Federal Circuit and Family Court. This team provides high quality Court support services to Judges, their staff, and to the general public and legal practitioners.
**Key Responsibilities and Duties**
- Setting up the court room and clearing up each day
- Swearing in of witnesses
- Ensuring practitioners and parties are in the court room ready for the hearing
- Managing technology such as Microsoft Teams and Webex for virtual hearings
- Maintaining adequate supplies of paper, cups, tissues, etc to ensure the Courtroom is well-stocked and prepared for daily operations.
- Providing high quality support to Judges and Chamber staff.
- Assisting within the Family Law registry by managing supplementary documentation and providing administrative support when required.
- Assisting with maintaining stationary stock for the registry and chambers floors
- Assisting with records management tasks including handling EPODS, archiving documents, updating files and processing incoming and outgoing mail.
**Mandatory or desirable qualifications**
Legal qualifications or previous legal work experience would be highly regarded but is not essential as full training is provided.

- Teamwork - Demonstrates an ability to work as a team member and offer support to other members of the team as necessary. Demonstrates an ability to work with limited direction, establish priorities, organize workload and meet deadline
**Eligibility**
- Australian citizenship - the successful applicant must hold Australian citizenship.
- Security and character clearance - the successful applicant must satisfy a Police Records Check and may also be required to complete security clearances during the course of their employment.
