Work for top tier Construction Company - Based in Welshpool - Interesting Project Work
Based in Welshpool, this diverse top tier construction company is looking for a Procurement Co-ordinator. The main focus of the role is to provide project support through the procurement of goods and services and defined by the projects requirements for all plant and asset related entities.
**Duties**:
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure they meet liability appetite, warranty requirements, rebates, payment terms and advertising promotions
- Review and manage tenders including design, documentation, negotiation, and evaluation
- Identify expansion opportunities and gather supplier capabilities across states and categories
- Maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders to ensure key business objectives from procurement perspectives are met
- Assist in the implementation of procurement processing guidelines, process maps and general procedural or training materials
About You:
With a strong focus on industry innovation, you will be a self-starter in building relationships with key stakeholders and negotiating trade agreements.
Further to your interpersonal skills, you will have a proven working experience within a high-performing procurement team.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Similar experience in procurement and logistics
- Experience in managing/negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions
- Proficient in MS and ERP systems.
This is a varied and interesting role with a supportive manager and collaborative team.
