Our client a Oil & Gas Organization in Perth CBD are currently seeking a Procurement Administrator to join them for a 6 month contract with potential of extension.
The Procurement Administrator is required to perform all activities in accordance with organizations policies and procedures and ensuring appropriate governance for procurement activities
**Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Become familiar with C&P systems, policies and procedures and standard purchase order and contract terms, particularly those related to vendor selection and on-boarding, payment verification and invoice processing
- Ensure C&P activities, internal and external, are conducted in a safe, ethical and professional manner at all times
- Actively promote effective communication and relationships with all other interfacing disciplines, both internal and external, in carrying out the assigned duties
- Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders to support transactional P2P in accordance with C&P policies and procedures, in supporting transactional P2P through, vendor onboarding, raising PRs, verifying and processing vendor invoices and close-out
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure transactional purchase order/contract requirements are understood and complied with by contractors
- Close out completed purchase order including co-ordinating payment of any outstanding amounts
**Key Skills and Experience Required**:
- 1-3 years experience in procurement and/or contract administration
- University degree in commercial/business related discipline highly desirable
- Proactive, goal oriented with excellent attention to detail
- A person of integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honours their commitments
- Able to work on multiple activities and prioritise accordingly
- Able to work effectively in small to large multi-disciplinary teams, and share and transfer knowledge within teams
- Demonstrates initiative and committed to professional development and learning and continuous improvement
