This **unique role** will attract an experienced and talented sustainability professional - from industry, consulting and/or academia - with business acumen; and a passion to help grow leaders at all levels (MBA students, Executives, Senior Executives and Boards) to successfully navigate, and contribute to, a more sustainable future.

The MBS **Centre for Sustainability and Business** (CSAB) is an innovative, growing Centre within MBS with the purpose of “unleashing leaders and ideas for an environmentally sustainable future.” It is focused on climate change, waste and circular economy, the human-nature relationship, and biodiversity conservation; and is home to and collaborates with leading experts and educators in this space.
Our track record includes the design, development, delivery and evaluation of world-class climate change and sustainability-related executive education and teaching programs. Including, as reported in the media, programs for clients such as Bain and NAB, as well as MBA and open enrolment programs such as ‘Sustainability for strategic advantage’. **The opportunity on offer**
Working closely with Centre and School colleagues, this role will lead and contribute to the design and development of world-class executive education and teaching programs; facilitate and deliver/present aspects of these programs; play a key role in associated client engagement and business development; contribute to the media, thought leadership and research activities of CSAB; and contribute to CSAB’s continued growth, track record, value and impact.
With a focus on sustainability, key accountabilities include:
- **Shape and contribute to the design of leading sustainability-related training and capability development for MBS programs** (MBA or custom executive education programs)
- Alongside CSAB’s leadership team, facilitate and deliver programs for MBS audiences
- Develop and contribute to high-quality, compelling business development proposals, presentations and relevant conversations
- Contribute to CSAB’s collaboration with the University of Melbourne
- Actively engage and collaborate with School more broadly, to help realise CSAB’s strategy and impact.
**Key attributes for the**
**Principal Consultant**
- Extensive experience in a relevant sustainability role within industry, consulting and/or academia
- Climate change and energy transition-related experiences will be particularly valued
- Qualifications relevant to a leading Centre of Sustainability and Business
- Advanced communication and engagement skills with a particular focus on senior audiences
- Ability to prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations and written materials
- Strong business acumen
