Principal Cloud Consultant

As a Sourced Principal Cloud Consultant, reporting to the Head of Consulting you will be responsible for setting best-in-class practice across the organisation and be a key player in technical and strategic architecture across our enterprise clients and internal consulting group. Leveraging your technical experience and expertise, you will be able to impact and influence a number of large organisations with their adoption of emerging and established cloud technologies and embracing a modern DevOps culture.

We are currently looking to hire Principal Consultants globally across our business and these positions play a key role in the leadership team and our collaborative consulting group.

While our Principal Consultants will generally be involved in more technical architecture and strategy you will also be comfortable 'rolling up the sleeves' and getting 'on the tools' to help with the technical delivery of Cloud and DevOps projects.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Building and nurturing technical and consulting architecture excellence across our business and help improve core internal process.
- Leading a team of Sourced cloud consulting experts, develops and implements strategy and execution plans for strategic customer engagements with both global and regional impact, aligned to business goals**.**:

- Trusted adviser for our enterprise clients and requires the skills to excel at all aspects of business development, people management, relationship development, delivery of cloud solutions and program management in their accounts, following a player/coach model and serve as a mentor to our other team members.
- Driving C-level discussions and working closely with both our clients and our Sourced consulting team to tailor and define cloud adoption and DevOps strategies
- Representing Sourced Group's and be a brand ambassador at regional and global conferences and has an impact in the cloud community.

**What experience and key attributes are required?**
- Significant experience and expertise in large-scale, secure, and high availability solutions in Cloud environment such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure
- Deep technical knowledge in DevOps, Scripting, CI/CD, Network design and Security.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate a position on a topic to influence significant global decisions to either Sourced or a client
- Strong facilitation skills with demonstrated experience leading scoping and design sessions, sprint planning, and managing geographically dispersed teams
- You can determine what is best for the organisation overall and create an environment for others to do the same
- You create trust and operate with humility; you move with urgency and focus and take responsibility seriously
- You will understand the value of quality team relationships and be satisfied by achieving outcomes with a strong one team culture.
- Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills including creating usable documentation and tools
