The Role

Our community client base is growing and we want reliable and flexible Home Support Workers to join our team. We have various roles available in the Mount Barker and Murray Bridge areas. As a Home Support Worker you will deliver personal care and social support to clients in accordance with their support plan in a way that maintains their independence, privacy and dignity.

Casual role - be able to have a healthy work/life balance
Local Employment - work close to where you live and provide support to your community

About You

**To succeed in this role, you will possess the following**:
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) is desirable but not essential
Reliable insured vehicle
Smart phone to access the mobile worker app
A passion for helping older people retain their independence
Excellent communication skills
Ability to identify an older persons strengths, gifts and talents and be able to empower them to retain their independence and live the life they want to live.
A great sense of humour and ability to socialise whilst providing support
Previous nursing experience working in a Community Aged Care setting, would be highly desirable
Hold a valid National Police Check or be willing to obtain one
Senior First Aid Certificate
Current Drivers Licence
Fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and influenza
