**Introduction**: **About the role**: As a Home Support Worker in Mount Barker or Murray Bridge with Kalyra, you will be responsible for helping older people remain as independent as possible. Taking a collaborative approach to care and a "do with - not for" approach, it means you will have the ability to identify an older person's strengths, gifts and talents and empower them to live the life they want to live. **On any given day you may be responsible for**: - Assisting with personal care - Domestic assistance - Meal preparation - Medication prompting - Social support & transport **The benefits**: - Casual to permanent part time employment or; - Support with studying a Certificate III through Kalyra's traineeship program - get paid to study and learn on the job - Paid KMs and travel time between visits - Job satisfaction - Customer focused with a "do with - not for" approach - Thorough induction and ongoing professional development and training - Salary sacrifice benefits + free physio - Wellbeing program + a very supportive, hands on leadership team **About you**: You will be passionate about community services with an interest in helping older people. Whilst you don't need a Certificate III to get started, you will be open and willing to undertake training.
