We are currently seeking an Order Fulfilment Officer (Distribution Officer) to join our team at our Melbourne Processing Centre in West Melbourne, VIC.

In this role, you will manage and replenish temperature-controlled inventory (blood and blood products), while adhering to cold-chain compliance standards.

Operating in a laboratory environment, you are accountable for picking, packing and the timely distribution of life-giving blood and products to Approved Health Providers throughout Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.

You will work alongside our customer service team and our transport partners to ensure that the right product gets to the right place at the right time. We achieve this through teamwork, collaboration and an uncompromising focus on safety, quality and customer service.

Experience in a production, order creation/picking, distribution, or pharmaceutical related field

Ability to undertake routine and repetitive work with high attention to detail

Passionate about delivering great customer service

Collaborative with a strong sense of teamwork

Excellent verbal and written communication

Technical and digital aptitude

Frequently lift shippers that weigh between 5 - 10kgs

Frequently stand, walk, bend and reach to pack blood and blood products

For this role, there are multiple permanent opportunities available at both part-time and full-time workloads, from 24 to 38 hours per week, based on preference. For the full-time roles, and due to the life-giving work we do, your flexibility and availability to work varied shifts from Mondays to Sundays across morning, afternoon and evenings are appreciated. For the permanent, part-time opportunities, these positions can work set shifts on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. These roles will be based out of our Melbourne Processing Centre in West Melbourne, VIC.
