About the role
As a National Order Fulfilment Manager, you will lead and manage the Order Fulfilment functions in Victoria and Tasmania, ensuring the efficient, sufficient, and timely supply of safe blood and clinical products to all customers within a service excellence culture. You will play a critical role in maintaining the national blood and clinical products supply and use your leadership capability to manage and coach team members through change.
**A day in the role will see you**:
Ensure internal engagement with Customer Service teams to continuously improve operational relationships with customers, including Approved Health Providers and state health departments.
Drive the probability of perfect order KPI to continuously deliver an improved customer experience.
Identify supply risks through data analysis and customer intelligence, coordinating with Medical Services and National Supply Chain to implement effective mitigation measures.
Undertake continuous improvement activities to enhance safety, efficiency, and reliability, while reducing the cost to serve and simplifying tasks.
Develop and implement performance metrics to monitor and improve distribution operations, measuring and enhancing the order-to-customer lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including radiation safety and Chain of Responsibility.
Identify strategic opportunities to improve business processes, influence stakeholders, and implement improvements as a member of Delivery Performance Groups.

Experience in management of distribution and logistics, preferably in the health and life sciences sector or customer lifecycle fulfilment operation.
Strong leadership and people change management abilities.
Previous experience in the implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
