_**Parts for Cars Group**_ is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our friendly team located in Prescott Street, Toowoomba City QLD.

We are a proud Queensland business with over 40 years of experience in the automotive parts industry.

For all customers old and new we strive to deliver great service and great prices on a huge range of products for all your vehicles.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Cover all aspects of the sales process, through to after-sales service.
- Maintaining monthly sales targets and profitability
- Being well organised and able to manage multiple tasks at once
- Generate new and follow up on existing leads
- Ability to negotiate and close sales
- Showroom upkeep and display maintenance.
- Preparing sales, purchase orders and quotes.
- Liaising with the Workshop Supervisor to ensure fitting time frames are met.
- Attend local industry shows twice a year

**Key duties of the role include**:

- Plan and **implement sales strategies** to achieve targets
- Develop and execute a sales and marketing plan which should include sales campaigns, call plan and sales budget
- M**aintain a close relationship with all major customers** in the territory and have an understanding of their relationship nationally
- **Attendance of trade shows** with potential to travel interstate
- Report on a monthly basis to management regarding all market and sales activities
- Collect market data, intel & provide feedback as required to support the Product Management & Marketing Teams
- Compile and conduct store and branch level training programs as and as required

**Skills & experience** **required**:

- Exceptional communication skills
- A customer service champion
- Experience or a passion for Auto Parts
- Well presented, great personal &phone manner
- Ability to influence & negotiate
- Ability to translate technical problems to simple solutions

**Summary of role requirements**:

- 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role (preferred)

**Schedule**:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday - Friday 0800-1700
- 30mins unpaid break
