**About the Role**

The Procurement lead sits within Maintenance Operations, Transport Services and is responsible for procuring services to deliver a large complex road maintenance program, including procurement of design Page 2 of 4 and project management services, maximising value for money. The Procurement Lead will provide practical advice on procurement and ensure compliance with the Department’s procurement policies.

**Position Outcomes / Accountabilities**
- Effectively plans procurement to maximise value for money, ensuring timely delivery of services, and making best use of limited resources.
- Effectively and efficiently provides procurement services supporting the delivery of a large, complex road maintenance program.
- Provides assurance of the procurement program in line with the Department’s standards and policies.
- Enhances the team’s capability to improve the quality and timeliness of procurement.
- Promote and support safe, inclusive and flexible team operations.

**Qualifications and Experience**

**Mandatory**
- Relevant experience in Procurement.

**Desirable**
- Relevant qualification in procurement
- Qualification in project management
